In Blushing Creatures of the Deep, I sought to explore the interplay between colour, movement, and texture to evoke a sense of life beneath the ocean’s surface. The rose gold background serves as a grounding element, allowing the vibrant pinks, indigos, and wine tones to emerge with a delicate intensity. Gold streaks weave through the piece, symbolising the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems. For me, this work is a celebration of the hidden wonders of the sea, blending reality with imagination to bring forth creatures that exist only in the fluid realms of my art.
